Searching Genus for YUCCA

Technically not perennials, but shrubs, these noble plants have a rare architectural quality that make them valuable as accent plants, especially in a hot setting. Rosettes of long, linear, sword-shaped leaves above which rise massive panicles of bell-shaped, waxy white or cream flowers, often flushed with pink or purple on the outside. Great favorites of Gertrude Jekyll.
