Searching Genus for EUPATORIUM

An American genus, the best species of which are wonderful garden subjects. They form large bushy plants with flower heads in purple, rose or white, grouped into corymbs.

Native to eastern North America. Forms a massive clump of robust stems, speckled purple with whorled leaves. Very large, domed, panicles of rose pink to purplish flower heads. An effective plant for naturalizing beside water, or for the back of the border. Seed wild collected in Ontario.

Slender, branching stems clothed in toothed leaves with brilliant white flower heads grouped into flat-topped corymbs. Appreciated in the late summer garden, when whites are rare. The most attractive and widely-grown of several white-flowered Eupatoriums. Will flower the first season. Wild collected in Rideau Township, Ontario.
Germination Instructions: Easy, warm germinator.
