Searching Genus for ACHILLEA

A large genus of hardy plants with aromatic, fernlike leaves and flowers in open clusters of dense, flat heads. The generic name commemorates Achilles, the Greek hero, who was taught the healing properties of the plant by his teacher. Cultivated since medieval times, Achillea grows best in a sunny, well-drained site in average to poor soil.

ACHILLEA sibirica var. camtschaticaSummer to Fall50
60cm  Zone: 3
A wonderful Achillea, blooming the first year from seed. The species hails from Japan, and is a rather dull white, but this variety has wonderful large soft pink flowers in distinct, strong corymbs. The foliage is substantial in texture, dark green, sturdy and upright. A very attractive addition to the border in full sun and ordinary soil.
Germination Instructions: Easy warm germinator.
